 Secuollas Secuollas: Sequoiyas, Giant Redwoods
One of the rarest and most impressive groves of sequoiyasexist in La Sierra de la Sagra. The largest of them reaches 47 metres in height and measures 7,10 around its massive trunk. They were planted 165 years ago, little time, relatively speaking, as they can live to be 1000 years old and grow to heights exceeding 100 metres.
Puebla de don Fadrique is a place of extraordinary beauty. Situated at 1165 metres and in the extreme north of the province of Granada, there are approximately 2500 inhabitants living in the area. It’s an ideal environment for exploring through the marvellous countryside along the many walking trails, and exploring beautiful places such as Las Santas, El Calar, La Sagra and others. In the village centre you will find the Church, ParroquialNuestra Senora de la Quinta Angustia, constructed in the 16th Century, and the Casa de los Patinos, a palace also dating from 16th Century and preserving many interesting architectural features of the era.
 Sierra de la Sagra Sierra de la Sagra: Situated only 9km from La Puebla at 2381 metres you will find a mountain paradise perfect for activities such as mountain climbing, walking and abseiling. There are beautiful views from sunrise to sunset.
 Sierra del Calar
Sierra de Calar: Situated behind the village at 1700 metres, a great place to observe the native fauna such as mountain goats and vultures. From the top there are beautiful panorams of the La Publa and the surrounding countryside.
